The Latch Brothers were an American remix group consisting of Michael "Mike D" Diamond of the Beastie Boys, aka "The Latchin Duke", Kenny "Tick" Salcido, aka "Count Tickula", a former columnist on Grand Royal's website, and Chris "Wag" Wagner of Mary's Danish, aka "Sir Poom a Lot". They contributed five original songs and three remixes to Jet Set Radio Future.
Forming sometime during the year 2000, the Latch Brothers' first remixes would be for the band At the Drive-In and the Beastie Boys. Just a year later, Sega and Smilebit would approach the Latch Brothers and Grand Royal to commission them to make music for Jet Set Radio Future based on the game's concept.[1] After the release of Jet Set Radio Future and the game's music sampler, Grand Royal would shut down permanently. The Latch Brothers would only last one more year before seemingly disbanding silently, but Mike D would reuse the Latch Brothers name in a remix he produced for Lykke Li's "Get Some" in 2011, titling it "Another Latch Bros. Production".

Trivia[]
The Latch Brothers would also make music for the action sports film, Keep Your Eyes Open.
Regarding the ownership of the Latch Brothers songs, an interview hosted by Beastie Mania would reveal that no Beastie Boys stuff got sold, which would more than likely include the Latch Brothers and BS 2000's discography.
