Tez Tanaka (テツ タナカ Tetsu Tanaka?) is a playable character in Ollie King. He is a Cornering type character with great rail balancing, and obviously cornering. He is considered to be the most manageable character in the game.

Appearance[]
Tez is a slightly below average skater whose color scheme consists of green, yellow, brown and black. He appears to wear an green unbutton shirt jacket that has a pocket on the left side. Underneath the jacket, he wears a brown argyle that has a yellow and black diamond shape up top with a brown and yellow zigzag pattern at the bottom with seemingly a loose belt to the side. He sports a brown cuff on his left arm and and wrist bracelet with rope over it on his right. He wears black pants with a similar rope entangled on his right leg. His skate shoes are brown and feature yellow soles. He wears a yellow and brown bucket hat. Overall, this gives him an "old-fashioned" or "green thumb" look to him.
His board design in his artwork features his name in a stylized graffiti font with "Te" being colored green and the "z" being colored orange while featuring arrows throughout. "Japanese", "Styles", and "Reflect Exclusive" can be seen on the board as well. In game, Tez's board features an entirely different design with the name "Hiroyoki" featured instead.
Personality and playstyle[]
Tez is described as a "dull" character, meaning he's laid back or plays life extremely casual, "going with the flow" of things. He is considered to be the best character for beginner players of Ollie King. He is classified as a "Cornering Type" or "Fast Corner Action Type", who is not that fast but has good balance while cornering and grinding.

- Tez's concept art shows that his design was nearly close to his finished look, although there are some slight differences such as him wearing a ring and a smaller bracelet on his left arm. His board was also going to feature green squares with leaves in the middle of them.
