Test Runs, (テストラン Tesuto Ran?) also known as Trial Missions,[1] (トライアルミッション Toraiaru Misshon?) are additional side missions that can be unlocked by collecting all the Graffiti Souls in an area in Jet Set Radio Future. Once the player has completed all the Test Runs in an area with a Jet ranking, the player will unlock a hidden character. There are four types of Test Runs. Test Runs only unlock after the player completes the Street Challenges in their respective areas. Every Test Run contains one objective that is to simply get a "Jet" rank for each one.

Trivia[]
- Despite the official name being "Test Runs", if the player talks to Boogie in chapter 9, she will refer to them as "Trials", which is what the side missions in Jet Set Radio were called.
- However, the Jet Set Radio Future Perfect Guidebook refers to them as "Trial Missions".
