The Rokkaku-dai District (ロッカク台方面 Rokkaku Hōmen?) is a district of Tokyo that appears in Jet Set Radio Future. It is the home turf of Poison Jam. The district is mainly under control of Gouji Rokkaku and his company the Rokkaku Group. The district is much less lively compared to the Shibuya District and 99th Street District.

Jet Set Radio Future Perfect Guidebook[]
- JP: ロッカクグループの総本山であるロッカク台があるエリアだ。要塞居住区、地下下水施設となにかと不穏な空気がブンプン漂っている。[1]
- EN: This is the area where Rokkaku-dai, the headquarters of the Rokkaku Group, is located. There are fortified residential areas, underground sewage facilities, and a disturbing atmosphere.[note 1]
Overview[]
The Rokkaku-dai District is similar to that of Kogane-cho from Jet Set Radio. Being set at the time of sunset, the Rokkaku-dai District is a more restrained location of Tokyo, as entertainment options are scarce. Citizens appear throughout the district, but are not as prevalent compared to the Shibuya District or 99th Street District. Areas such as Rokkaku-dai Heights, Kibogaoka Hill, and the Fortified Residential Zone hold home to most citizens for in the area. The Tokyo Underground Sewage Facility and its bottom point extension are where Poison Jam makes a name for themselves, and are notably the only gang of Rudies to do so in this area as well. The Rokkaku-dai District also comes off as heavily unfinished, as nearly each area seems to be under construction. This creates a disjointed feeling when exploring the district, and as a result feels slightly unnerving that people decide to spend time here.
Story[]
In Jet Set Radio Future, the Rokkaku-dai District debuts in chapter 2, being one of the three new locations the player can explore alongside Chuo Street and 99th Street. Here, the GG's confront Poison Jam and their boss, Cube, and puts them out of commission for the rest of the game. The GG's also have to deal with the Rokkaku Police, the Immortals, the Golden Rhinos, and rescue Yoyo from the aforementioned assassin gang. Similarly to the rest of Tokyo, they must also deal with the horde of Noise Tanks that infested Rokkaku-dai Heights alongside with the Golden Rhinos. The GG's eventually save the Rokkaku-dai District after ridding of Gouji Rokkaku and his Rokkaku Expo. Bringing some peace to the area.

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing[]
In Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, the Rokkaku-dai District appears via the Rokkaku Hill racetrack. Despite being influenced by the district of the game, the area itself is actually brand new and is more than likely a "what if" scenario of the district having its own dedicated entertainment zone as an underground mall is present in the track. The track also features cameos of several characters for Jet Set Radio Future as well.

Trivia[]
- Although the Rokkaku Group's headquarters are shown to be what looks like the Shibuya District in the opening cutscene of Jet Set Radio Future, the Jet Set Radio Future Perfect Guidebook states that the company's headquarters is located in the Rokkaku-dai District.
- Even though the district does not retain the Kogane name from the previous title, the locale still incorporates the name via the abandoned Kogane Station in Rokkaku-dai Heights itself.
