The Ollie King Official Site, (オリーキングオフィシャルサイト Orī Kingu Ofisharu Saito?) stylized as Ollie King OFFICIAL SITE, is the official website for Ollie King. It launched in 2004 according to the website itself. On it, people can find information relating to the game, just like with the websites for Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future. As of right now, the site has yet to go defunct.
History[]
The official website for Ollie King was launched around in 2004, the year the game fully launched in Japan. On it, the site would get a few updates between April and May of the same year. Afterwards, the site would not receive anymore updates, seemingly being finalized and with no potential plans update the page, despite some things being teased, like the expert mode for each racetrack in the game.
Contents[]
Home[]
The main page for the website. On here, player's can browse the site's other options or click on links to be taken to other pages relating to the game, such as the soundtrack, the developer interview, and soundtrack commentary page.
Game[]
This part of the website is related to the gameplay of Ollie King. On this section of the site, player's have the opportunity to look at an overview for the game, how to play the game, and learn the list of tricks from the game.
Movie[]
No, just like with JSRF.com, not an actual "movie". However, it was similar, as fans were allowed to download a preview video showcasing the game. There is only one video that was made available, and the highest quality is only in 320x240p.
Character[]
The section that goes over all the playable characters in the game in roster order: Phillip "Grinner" Jones, Tez Tanaka, Miguel Diaz, DiDi Summers, Scott Ripper, and JB Bullet. On each character profile, player's can learn the character's stats and general info regarding them such as ages, height, and weight.
Stage[]
This part of the website covered each three stages of the game: San Francisco, London, and Kyoto. However, only information regarding the normal variation of the courses are available, as while the expert modes are teased, they were never added to the website. The only way for player's to learn about the expert versions of the tracks is by either the manual for the game or in the game itself.
Download[]
The last section on the website. Here, player's can download wallpapers relating to Ollie King. Only seven were made, six of those being one for each playable character and the final one being for the website's background. The highest quality available is 1280x1024.
