Throughout Jet Set Radio, medleys of songs can be heard throughout each mission of the game, bar Final Groove; most medleys contain three songs, with the exception of one, and the most songs in a medley is five. Additionally, most missions have two mixes for them, however, due to subsequent releases and soundtrack changes some missions gained additional mixes. Every mission in Tokyo-to also begins with the jingle, "Jet Set Station" by Toronto featuring Dj-K. For the Grind City missions, no jingle plays as it takes place outside of Tokyo-to.
