Chapter 9 Missions is an umbrella term that is used to describe the optional chapter 7 rematches against the Doom Riders, Love Shockers, and Immortals, for the post-game of Jet Set Radio Future. Like before, info regarding these missions, or at least two of them, come from the Jet Set Radio Future Perfect Guidebook.

- Tag Battle against the Immortals, again.
Walkthrough[]
Dogenzaka GP[]
Dogenzaka GP (ドーゲン坂GP Dōgen-zaka GP?) is the optional chapter 7 mission of Dogenzaka Hill. If the player did not head to Dogenzaka Hill during chapter 7, they avoided a rematch against the Doom Riders, however, they will appear in chapter 9 instead if the player revisits the area. As soon as the player skates into Dogenzaka Hill they will instantly be challenged by the former biker gang to a race around Dogenzaka Hill. Similar to that of the race against Beat, the player must simply Boost Dash whenever they have enough cans to spare. Quick characters like Gum or Cube are recommended for this mission.
Operation Glittering Date[]
Operation Glittering Date (キラメキデート作戦 Kirameki Dēto Sakusen?) is the optional chapter 7 mission of Hikage Street. During most play throughs it is very unlikely the player headed to Hikage Street during their pursuit after Clutch, and are more than likely to complete this mission during chapter 9 instead. As soon as the player arrives in Hikage Street, the Love Shockers pop out of nowhere, ready to challenge the GG's again, after their round of Death Ball was ruined by the Rokkaku Police's incompetence. Their match is a game of Jet Flag. Similar to the one against Rapid 99 in chapter 2, simply collect 3 or more flags to win against the heartbroken gang.
Immortals Round 3[]
The third round of Tagger's Tag with the Immortals is the last time the player has the face the mummy gang. While it is possible to face them in chapter 7 if the player chases after Clutch by going to the Skyscraper District and Pharaoh Park. However, if they simply go to Chuo Street instead, they will not encounter this mission. Oddly, taking place in 99th Street instead of their home turf, the Immortals wake up from their slumber again to take down the GG's one more time, and unsurprisingly still fail in return. This is the last of the chapter 9 missions and now the player has complete free reign to explore Tokyo, collect Mystery Tapes to unlock Street Challenges, and collect Graffiti Souls to unlock Test Runs, which allows for more additional characters to be played as.
Music[]
These missions are unique as they potentially have 4 sets of songs that could play during them. Depending on which chapter the player completes them in they can hear either chapter 7's set or chapter 8's set, which also plays during chapter 9.

Trivia[]
- Strangely, the third round of Tagger's Tag against the Immortals is omitted from the Jet Set Radio Future Perfect Guidebook, despite the fact that it covers both the Dogenzaka GP and Operation Glittering Date.
- Although, probably unlikely, Operation Glittering Date's name might be slightly inspired by Love Attack's literal translation name: "Operation Love Attack".
- The Rokkaku-dai District is the only district to not contain an optional chapter 7/post-game mission in the game.
- All three gangs who have a rematch are the gangs the GG's went up against during the Death Ball tournament.
- Due to the rematches against the Doom Riders and Love Shockers, the Shibuya District has the most missions in the game, tallying up to 10, while the 99th Street District has 9 due to the Immortals rematch. The Rokkaku-dai District comes in last, only with 8 missions in the game.
