Ball Hog, (ボールホッグ Bōru Hoggu?) referred to as Death Ball (デスボウル Desu Bouru?, lit. Death Bowl) during the story, is a game mode and sport in Jet Set Radio Future which involves picking up a rugby-like ball and keeping it away from the opposition for an entire lap. If ball is dropped, the player or their teammate will have to pick it back up quickly.
Story[]
During the story, a member of the GG's is captured by the Noise Tanks, and is forced to play a game of "Death Ball" with the help of Jazz. During the tournament, the captured GG and Jazz have to go against the Doom Riders, the Immortals, and the Love Shockers. During the last round against the Love Shockers, Hayashi crashes the party with the Terror Drone, which forces the tournament to end early.

- Grasp the ball from your rival and run the course. Make a lap from the point you grab the ball without dropping it or being taken away to win. With Team Battle, press the B button while the cursor is showing to pass the ball to your teammate.[1]

- Known as Death Ball within the context of the game's storyline, Ball Hog is basically "keep away." To win, you must hold onto the ball for one lap beyond the point where you originally picked it up. Dropping it resets the marker.[3]
